Gears of War

The latest game I was able to play this past week was Gears of War, the third-person shooter set on the planet Serra, where humans first evolved. After years of war between different factions on the planet for a valuable resource known as Imulsion, a horde of bloodthirsty creatures known as the Locusts have begun waging a terrible war with humanity, looking to slaughter every last human being on the planet. You play Marcus Fenix, a soldier for the COG, (The Coalition of Ordered Governments), who has been rescued from a maximum security prison to help the COG find a device known as the resonator, which would map the entire Locust hives and tunnels, which reside under the planet.
The game play is very consistent in its visual content and free flow. The shift between intense fight scenes and realistic cinematic scenes is stunning. As you play the game, you feel like you are watching a war movie for the first time. The mass amounts of weapons available is amazing, and even includes a rifle gun with a chainsaw attached to the end of it.
Overall, I give this game a 10 out of 10, for I could find no faults with it whatsoever. The story was massive, and the game play is so real you feel an adrenaline rush every second you are playing.
